Specs: Windows 7

I have a printer Canon MX710 and it has all the cartridges replaced but it doesn't print. When I want to print a page, it is functioning like it is printing, but when the paper gets out from the printer , it is nothing printed on it, it`s white. What to do?

Thank you very much,

If you haven't used the printer for a few days (ie more than a week) the residual ink in the printhead will have dried to a paste which is causing an ink-blockage. This means that fresh ink from your new cartridges cannot get through to the paper.

Open your printer driver dialog and look for the nozzle cleaning option. You may have to run that process several times. It pumps the new ink through under high pressure to try and shift the blockage.

If that is unsuccessful, remove the printhead and let it soak in warm soapy water for a few hours. Then rinse it & let it dry thoroughly before putting it back in to the printer.

In extreme blockage situations even that will not work and you'll have to buy a new printer. You must use your printer at least every couple of days to prevent blockages occurring.
