nvidia n force 4 pci driver wont let pc load past startup

August 10, 2012 at 01:27:20
Specs: Windows XP SP3, 64 dual core AMDX2/2GB DDR
downloaded nvidia 4 pci driver and now I can't get to my home login screen. I've tried safemode and restoring to last known good configuration with no headway. I know little of PCI's or their drivers but I believe I may have botched the uninstall and reinstallation process.

I can`t see why you can`t boot in safe mode, because that should work even if the drivers are messed up...

If you have onboard graphics card, you can use it to boot in safe mode and uninstall the separate GPU driver, which now is not working. Check the back of your PC to see if you have onboard GPU.

Post back if you have any results.

Is there anything else I can do? I don't have an onboard video driver and I still dont have any access through safe mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated
