Specs: Windows 7, 4
Well, since my creative sound card died, I installed the sound card that I got when I ordered my computer.
it is some weird asus sound card.
That's the info from Everest:

Audio Adapter: ATI Radeon HDMI @ ATI RV770/790 - High Definition Audio Controller

Device Properties
 Analog Devices AD1988B
Device Description nVIDIA nForce 590 SLI (MCP55P) - High Definition Audio Controller
Device Description (Windows) High Definition Audio Controller
Bus Type PCI
Device ID 10DE-0371
Subsystem ID 1043-81F2
Revision A2
Hardware ID PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0371&SUBSYS_81F21043&REV_A2

I have installed this driver:
It installed just fine, but yet, no sound.
It recognizes when I insert my headphones into the sound card.

I can speak to the microphone, and hear myself in the headphones...

What is wrong?

The driver is available from ASUS Support, you may also need to instal the nVidia Motherboard Drivers. It is not weird it is just using rapidshare to find the driver which is weird!
