Need to add a device to HP Solution Center

Specs: Windows XP Pro (SP3), Penryn T8100 @ 2.1 GHz/3GB
I have an HP C4580 and HP PSC 1510 All-in-one printers. I installed the C4580 software, and now I want to add my 1510 to the HP Solution Center. When I put in the install CD, one of the options is to "Add a Device". I selected it and went through the setup until it told me to plug in my new device and then click next. I did so, but the "Next" button was never enabled. I also tried installing my 1510 driver first and then installing HP Solution Center. Didn't work. How can I add my 1510 printer to the HP Solution Center? I understand some people have an "add a device" option in their HP start menu folder? Can anyone tell me what program that shortcut points to and maybe I can download it?

When the driver installer tells you to plug in the PSC 1510, make sure it is:

(1) connected to the mains,
(2) connected to the PC,
(3) and the printer is SWITCHED ON.

The 'Next' button will be greyed out until you do all those three things.

Yes I always have the printer on before pluging in the USB.
