Get them from the HP/Compaq website:

United Kingdom:

(For other countries, click link at bottom left of UK page).

If HP/Compaq do not have Windows XP drivers for that model, you will have to put Windows Vista back on it as your model is not compatible with Windows XP.

You should have checked the HP/Compaq website to see what drivers were available before downgrading to XP.

XP is not natively supported by Compaq, you should of upgraded to Windows 7.

There are no RTL8201 Drivers, they are included in the Chipset Driver Package, the following is from the Realtak Support Website

Q9: Why don't I find RTL8201x driver on the website?
RTL8201, RTL8201BL, RTL8201CL, RTL8201CP, RTL8201N and RTL8211B(L) are all PHYceiver. That is a driverless hardware device. Software driver are relative to Network controller ( MAC ) which is integrated into chipset in such case mostly. Please contact your mother board maker or chipset manufacturer to obtain proper driver support.

This is the HP/Compaq Motherboard page, good luck with finding drivers for XP:

ARM Devices the future. Windows have accepted the fact!

None of the "cyber crew" offered anything that I did not already know. The problem is I try to load Vista to a SATA drive it goes brain dead. Does not recognize the disk drive. If I put in IDE drive magic happens. Come on guys and gals lets hear from someone who knows what is going on here. Think! Oh I am sorry I shoulda known that XP is not supported, duh!
