I suspect you attempted to update the BIOS, not the BIOS logo. Please explain how you went about it.

I checked the Lenovo website & only found one BIOS update. The file (H9ET92WW.exe) should have been downloaded & then double clicked on to install. The laptop should have been connected to the AC adapter at the time, not battery power. After the installation is complete, the laptop will reboot. The file comes with this warning: "Do not power off or restart your computer during the BIOS flashing process, which will cause serious damage and improper functioning of your computer."

Unfortunately, if the BIOS update was done improperly, it's likely the laptop will either have to be repaired professionally or replaced altogether. If you have important files you need to retrieve, the hard drive can be removed & connected to another computer.

For the future it is best not to update BIOS unless it is essential. It should not be regarded as a routine thing to do. We have had many reports on here about bricked motherboards after doing so.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
