Specs: Windows XP, dual core 1.66 GHz / 504MB Ram
I think i only have a driver problem but when I type ( " ) on my keyboard it makes a ( @ ) and when I type ( @ ) , well then it makes an ( " ). I think my keyboard is a little different because my ( @ ) sign is not above the number 2 but on top of the ( ' ) ,whatever you call it. Any help on how to fix it would be appreciated.

You need to set your keyboard to the correct region - the keyboard you are using is a UK one (with the @ above ', though there may be other keyboards with the same layout), but you have your region set to somewhere else. In order to set the keyboard to match your region, go into Control Panel, look under 'regions and Language', then the 'languages' tab and click on 'details' you then need to add & select the UK, or whichever other region the keyboard is designed for there.

Ok, when I go to Control Panel and I click on 'keyboard' it gives me the 'Character Repeat' and the 'Cursor blink rate' options. There is a hardware tab and I clicked there (there is two buttons 'troubleshoot' and 'properties') and I clicked on properties and it just gives me the general info and the driver tab with 4 buttons 'Driver details', 'update driver', 'Roll back driver' and 'Uninstall'. I've looked about everywhere for the 'regions and Language' options. Sorry I'm not usually this unintellegant but i've tried everything.

oh sorry I see now that I should not go to 'keyboard' settings but 'regions and Language' in the main page but now I'm just struggling to find the right one.
