Specs: Windows 7
My enthernet port isn't detecting any cables i insert, when i check device manager it says error code 28 drivers are not installed can anyone help me find the drivers plz help me i use a acer laptop

Actual model of your Acer would be useful?

You might right click on the adapter in Device Manager and delete/remove the device. Then reboot and see if Windows finds it afresh and loads the driver.

Meanwhile perhaps download (hopefully) the correct driver here:

Click on the (saved) file and it will install.

Download the first driver in the list; and also the second user manual in that list...
If your version of Windows-7 is 64 bit then download the second driver in the list not the first.

Did it work previously; until "now"?

Something to try first:

If you have any Restore Points set prior to the event, then select one and go back to that date/time? It "may" resolve the problem?
