my audio driver is not working

Specs: Windows XP, 2.88ghzz/248mb
whenever i play a song windows media player shows "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly"plzz help me , iinstalled manyy sound drivers like realtek, soundmax but none of them worked and when i installed c-media it shows tat no audio chip is there, but my motherboard p4i45gv already has a sound card ....plzz help me what to do.

You can not just choose a Driver at random you need the correct one installed:

I prseume it is an Asrock Motherboard:
