Missing Ethernet Controller

Specs: XP Professional, Intel P4 2.80 GHz
I've looked around the forums to fix this problem and have tried the advice given to others... but so far, no good.
I have re-installed XP onto my partner's ThinkCentre 8189-E1U desktop. In the process, the drivers for the Ethernet Controller and a few others (Multimedia Audio Controller, SM Bus Controller, USB Controller and Video Controller) are not present.
Naturally, I went to the Lenovo Support page and downloaded what they had available, but these have not solved the problem, and I suspect that these pieces of hardware are not what ships with the original model anyway.
Unfortunately, Device Manager won't tell me the manufacturer name to look there (no details tab), but looking at the piece of hardware itself, a nice - 'e-tech' stamp (Realtek? Gateway?) and a sticker 'P35-152-11Z9' is all I've got to go with. PCIDatabase.com doesn't have that in it as a model number, that's for sure :S

Some of the missing drivers are all to do with the chipset driver, which should always be the first one installed. Take the side off the tower and check for a manufacturer/model of the motherboard & then go to that company's website to see if there are chipset drivers available.
