Kingstone / Data traveler
September 5, 2010 at 11:04:40
Specs: Windows XP

I bought a Kingston 8 GB data traveler about half year ago. I was watching movie from that when I happend to touch it with my elbow and since that moment my data traveler cannot be recognized. I cannot format or read anything from that because there is no even an icon of that in the Mycomputer. I have windows XP with service pack 3 if it is necesary to find out the the problem.

Someone pls help me! I loved this pendrive and now it does not work at all only an unrecognized usb device for which theoreticaly there is no driver installed... I don't understand, because I did not find any driver for this device in the internet.

Thanks in advance!

All of the drivers needed for it to work are already in Windows XP. It sounds like it has stopped working due to hardware malfunction. I suggest you contact Kingston Tech Support about getting it replaced under warranty. 800-435-0640.
