Jaz Drive SCSI-USB Adapter & Driver for Vista

June 28, 2011 at 14:33:50
Specs: Windows Vista (version unknown)
I have two Jaz disks (one 1 GB and one 2 GB) with data files on them. I want to retrieve these files and copy them to a hard drive, but I don't know how. I had a Jaz drive that was stolen. The drive is easy enough to find (on eBay or Amazon) and replace. But I have two other obstacles: 1) finding the right SCSI to USB adapter, and 2) finding a driver for Vista that can read the Jaz drive. I'm not a technie, so any information or advice is appreciated as long as you can break it down in Kindergarten English. Can anyone tell me the right adapter to find and where I can find it at a good price? Is there a Jaz driver that works with Vista or even Windows 7? Is this an impossible task? In the alternative, can anyone recommend a service (pref. in the Los Angeles area) that will retrieve 3 gigs of data from Jaz disk? Please advise! Thanks.

There are no drivers of Vista or 7, XP was the last supported:
