Specs: Linux x86_64
Does anyone have some ideas about drivers for Visioneer One Touch 7400 scanner that a non technical person can download simply? The website has none for Linux Ubuntu.

The link posted by trvlr is to a different post by Dustbindiva asking the same question. It was marked 'solved' so I assumed she'd gotten the scanner to work. My best advice is to dump Ubuntu & install a more user friendly version of Linux. Linux Lite & Mint Linux come with the scanning software pre-installed.

Linux Lite menu: https://i0.wp.com/manjaro.site/wp-c...

Linux Mint menu: https://cdn.discuss.com.hk/t/80b198...

If you stick with Ubuntu, the software might not be pre-installed so you'll have to install it manually. If the other guide didn't work for you, try this one: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/sane
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/S...

Could it be that you just don't know where to look for the scanning program (SANE)? It would help to know which version of Ubuntu you're using.
