Solved How to get api-ms-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dill

May 10, 2017 at 17:32:06
Specs: Windows 7
When I try to open iTunes the message pops up that I am missing the api-ms-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dill and that I should reinstall it. Can't find out how to do this. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling iTunes and it still comes up with this message.

No matter how long the search a driver could not be found. Someone completely uninstalled iTunes for me and I will not reinstall it. Problem solved

Then you must not be installing ALL the updates. What about the optional ones? Do you install them all, pick & choose, or ignore them completely?

Just for info it's .dll rather than .dill (it's known as a file extension, short for dynamic link library).

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
