how do i install bootmgr back in win 7

Specs: Linux i686, 4 gig
I cant boot windows 7, for some reason it says please install bootmgr from drivers disk. when i put the disk in and re boot or do a clean installation it wont copy any files at the start. Im using linux @ the moment but the OS is windows 7N Pro. I dont have any recovery disks, lost them moving house so i only have product key and the original win 7 upgrads DVD and product key, upgraded from Vista home premium on Acer aspire 5738

You need to tap alt+10 at the acer logo on startup. Did you install linux or running from CD? If you installed linux then the alt+f10 will not work because you overwrote your MBR. Maybe contact Acer and get the recovery DVD'S but good luck with that because they usually refuse.

Well all sorted, i did a fresh install of win XP pro made a new clean partition, format the drive and installed a full version of win 7 ultimate (hacked copy) and didnt need a product key, nice and easy.
