Solved How do I download drivers to a new build w/out drivers disc?

Specs: None yet.Will be Windows1010, Intel Core i7 4790K
(typo: Should be "Will be Windows 10.")
I’m building a computer (first time). I bought a refurbished motherboard
(Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H rev.1.1).

It did not come with a driver disc.

No problem. I went to the Gigabyte website and downloaded the drivers I need, went to Microsoft and downloaded Microsoft .Net Framework, and put them on a USB thumb drive to transfer to the new system (once I get it built).

… Uhm… Maybe there IS a problem. The Framework is a setup.exe file and the drivers are zip files. I can't just plug the thumb drive into the new system and download them to the motherboard like that, can I? Can I?

Well, if not, how ‘bout if I run the setup, unzip the zipped, and put THOSE on the thumb drive?
Is that what I need to do?

Obviously you install Windows first and get that up & running.

Then plug in your pen drive.
Run the setup.exe to install .Net Framework.

Now unzip all the driver packages and install those, starting with the Chipset driver.
