What are you plugging the devices into. Are you sure that it is USB 2?

If you have a computer more than a few years old, the USB ports are probably 1.0. The error message is just a notification and not a real big deal. If you have several of these devices that you're seeing this error, you could buy an USB Hub that has an external power source. This will also allow you to connect multiple USB devices without loss of performance.

I disagree that it's not a big deal. USB 2 is slow enough but USB 1 just crawls. If the ports in the computer are USB 1 then it would be worth buying an expansion card with USB 2 or 3 ports. A USB hub won't speed up a connection to a USB 1 port.
