Specs: Windows 7
I have Windows 7 O/S. I also have a new HP G72-C55DX Notebook PC. I have installed a HP Universal printer and downloaded print driver for bit 64 on my laptop. I use two printers at two locations. One is HP 3300 series PCL 5 Laserjet and the other is HP M2727 MFP PCL 6 Laserjet . I want the option to use either printer. I can't print at all. When laptop starts up there is no computer prompt that says "Found New Hardware". What can I do to correct these problems?

Are the printers showing in 'Devices and Printers'? Are there unknown devices? - if so right-click and select 'remove device' then unplug the printer(s) and plug them back in again.

The Universal printer is listed under devices and printers. There are no unknown devices listed under devices and printers. When I try to look at properties, it wants a printer address. Could the printer and/or drivers be stored
in the wrong folder or location on my laptop? I do not have a network.
