Solved How can I get a different audio driver?

Hi, I have just finished my first build, but the audio driver following with the MSI Z97S Sli Krait Edition is super disappointing...

Every time I plug in an audio jack it asks what it is, it is complicated, there is an unwanted tray icon, a waste of time and it doesn't work at all... So. Is it possible to find another sound driver for my mobo?

I have been really frustrated with this, so much that I am willing to buy a whole different motherboard if the driver is unchangeable, if that even helps.

With my old pc, i could just plug it in and it worked, no tray icon or setup program...

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

The only compatible audio driver for your MSI motherboard is the one supplied on the motherboard CD or get the latest drivers on the MSI website.

I assume you've had a darned good look around to make sure there are no settings that can be changed to minimise these intrusions.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
