Formated Win7 to XP. Unable to install Video

Specs: winxp pro, 1.7/ 3gb ddr3
I have a Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q894 laptop with windows 7. I got rid of Windows 7 and gave it a clean format with Windows XP Pro. All of the drivers have been installed except for the video card drivers. I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M in this laptop and when I try to install the drivers it gives me the error "Install cannot continue. This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". How can this be? I've done countless hours of research and haven't came to a resolution yet. Can someone please help me out?

I tried to flash the BIOS to the latest version and still no luck.

If this is a BRAND new computer you may have just been burned by Micro$oft. Many new computer are designed not to be able to restore to previous OS's. Toshiba may have never bothered to write drivers for Win XP. First step is to verify that drivers for this device exist, and make sure you have the exact model card.
