I am also looking for same solving same issues.
please advice if you could solve it.
I have same cable bafo USB-LPT and it doesn't helping me when i print any docs and just shows printing and then fails.

Your post confusing as you seem to be referring to another post with whatever problem.

Please give us more exact information - what is the problem you have; what equipment is involved - make and model of computer, of router (if you are using one).

And explain what is the "cable bafo usb-lpt.

Hopefully help can then be provided...

Hi,
I have Windows XP SP3 OS on my Laptop. I just brought a BAFO USB to Parallel cable IEEE 1284 ( USB to Printer). On plugging it in I see it getting configured as USB Printing support and not as LPT1 etc. I want to have it as LPT1 or LPT2.

My objective is to read printer data from 36pin centronics port.
I have same cable bafo USB-LPT and it doesn't helping me when i print any docs and just shows printing and then fails.

Using i try to read data, in Simple parallel port mode it works fine, if i am not using USB2LPT cable. If i use it, printing stops and and i could read printing data.

Should i use and configure EPP mode..Please suggest.
