Solved External Hardware Not Being Detected

Specs: Windows 7
I have an external Hardisk of WD which is not being detected in my laptop in MY COMPUTERS but when i rach devices and printers it shows it there. This means that the device has been detected but is not being shown. So nw what should i do.

Go to:
Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management

Look in the bottom-right panel (scroll down if necessary to ensure you don't miss any drives).

The external drive may be shown there without a drive-letter and file-sytem "RAW".
Right-click on it and choose "Change Drive Letter & Paths".
Click "Add".
Choose a letter or accept the default.
Click 'OK' and wait a few seconds.
