Solved Ethernet connection not working

April 9, 2013 at 16:54:50
Specs: Windows 7
I updated my driver for my Ethernet controller and now it does not work.. I can not set it up, the only choices I have are
to set up a wireless connection or set up a broadband connection using a user name and password but my ISP does not require
one so it wont complete the connection set up, I am using win 7 64, how do I fix this so I can use my ethernet connection again??

✔ Best Answer
Open Start Menu>Right-Hand click 'Computer'>Click 'Manage'

On the Left-hand side, there are different computer management tools, click on the Device Manager, locate your network controller, right-hand click on it and select 'Properties'.

On the window that pops up, click the 'Driver' tab and click on the 'Roll Back Driver' button and follow the on-screen directions (restart etc.).
