Solved e-system touchpad turn off touchclick

Specs: Windows vista home
Please can someone tell me, how to disable the touch/click action on my laptop
it does seem to have a driver in hardware manager, it just has mouse settings
its an e-system (dixons) 1412 t1500 laptop, i have earched the internet for a driver , to no avail

According to my records the Ei system laptops I've seen use Synaptics touchpads so I would suggest trying them for a start - available here: http://www.synaptics.com/resources/... and see if it is accepted (it's quite a large file as it is an 'all-in-one' package) - if it is not correct then you will simply get a 'hardware not found' message when you run the installation program (It's good practice to create a restore point before installation anyway). Once installed, the icon in the system tray will let you turn off tap-click etc.
