Best avoid those driver finding programs. - get them from computer manufacturer when necessary.

It's a long shot but try discharging the motherboard like this:
Turn off computer and unplug from domestic power. Remove battery too if it's a laptop. Hold the Power Off/On button for at least 20 seconds which discharges the components. Try computer again - it might not help but at least it is easy to try.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Why would you install that crapware? Using the wired keyboard, boot into Safe Mode & uninstall Drivermax immediately. Then run a full scan for viruses & malware. In the future, go to the manufacturer's site & download drivers manually.

@Barryr

This Method Doesn't Work When Using UEFI BIOS & SSDs, But Try It (Hopefully).
At Start of BOOT Process/Stage, Use F8 or Shift + F8
Then, Select Safe Mode and Start Windows in Safe Mode.
You May Have To Try It Several Times, With Several Reboots of Your Computer.
In Safe Mode, Uninstall Input Device Drivers (Keyboard, Mouse,...)

Good Luck.
