Different hard drive in different computer uncompadible.

Specs: Windows 7
My hard Drive was missing some things on it that my other hard drive had. I decided to switch the two and I get a blue screen that says:
A problem has been detected and windows(7) has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps.
Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any Newley installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run CHADS /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

I am working with a fat Dell Inspiron 570 upgraded with a Corsair CX600 and a GeForce 550 Ti as the only things upgraded.

Where did the other HDD come from? Windows isn't designed to swappable from one system from another. If there's something missing (I assume you mean software) from the original HDD, why not just install whatever it is you need/want?
