Dell Latitude C640 wireless driver problem

February 1, 2012 at 15:58:48
Specs: Windows XP, 2.0 GHz
I had to reinstall windows on my Dell Latitude C640. I found most of the drivers except the Network Controller, which I'm assuming is the wireless driver. I checked the Dell website and none of the drivers worked. Does anyone know what driver I can use??? Thank You.

Only drivers from Dell will work on Dell machines.
"Network Driver" can mean a wireless driver, or an ethernet driver (for a wired connection), as both are network devices.

Make sure you are using the correct Dell website for your country.
If possible, enter the "Service Tag" or "Express Service Code" from your machine, rather than selecting the model yourself.

Go here: http://www.dell.co.uk/

Scroll down to the bottom and select your country from the drop-down list next to the little flag, then click "Drivers & Downloads" under "Support"
