CDs won't burn; program says disk finalized

October 2, 2011 at 18:48:48
Specs: Windows XP
Why does my cd burner program say my blank cds aren't blank? Real Player says that the blank disk has been finalized and therefore not writable. Now really, why would anyone buy a blank cd that cannot be used? I think this couldn't be true. Please help me to understand.

Why people use what is primarily a media player to burn discs is beyond me.
Try using dedicated burning software to see if it's RealPlayer that's to blame.

Thanks, I downloaded the cdburner program, and it still says my disk isn't "usable". What gives?
