built in webcam driver not detected?

September 5, 2010 at 22:51:39
Specs: Windows XP
I'm using a Toshiba that is running windows xp professional x64 edition.

I see the lens of the web camera above the screen, but when I go to the control panel and go into printers and cameras, it says no drivers detected. Tell me I don't have to pay to use a camera I already have. How can I make it work?

Help me please, find me on facebook, e-mail, or Yahoo messenger with kimberly.hester@rocketmail.com

You will have to download and install the drivers for your webcam from the computer or webcam manufacturers website. For XP64 they may be difficult to find, if they are available at all. Remember that for a 64 bit OS all drivers must be 64 bit. 32 bit drivers will not work.
