What is the name of the Bluetooth device? This might help with the search. The other option might be to check with the customer support for the Bluetooth device.

perhaps i need this clarified for me first, a bluetooth peripheral device is any external device that you connect to your computer via bluetooth??

say i want to transfer music files from the laptop to a nokia phone...is the nokia the peripheral device?
and does this mean i specifically need a nokia bluetooth peripheral device driver?
will i then need a driver for all the different kinds of devices i may want to pair with the laptop?

the bluetooth peripheral device is the bluetooth (usb dongle) or the bluetooth builtin onboard you motherboards wi fi card....this you need to have the driver for to make it work on the laptop, when you add a device like a cell phone or ipad ect. windows will update it with the drivers automatically. hope this helps you and if you need the software let me know if you have win 7 32 bit or 64 bit os
