Best video driver, Windows 7 32-bit Ultimate

Specs: Windows 7, Pentium Dual-Core E6500 @2.93 GHz / 4 GB
I'm using a Compaq MV520 monitor. Yeah, I know it's ancient - but the colours are good.
I've got an NVidia GeForce 9400GT graphics card with 1 GB dedicated video RAM installed, which can drive a much newer monitor at higher resolution.I'm running Windows 7 32-bit Ultimate.

The best the generic monitor driver can do is 1024x768 32-bit (TrueColor). Is there a driver that will get more out of this monitor?

1024x768 is the max monitor resolution for your Monitor. You will need to purchase a new monitor to push your resolution any higher. There are no drivers that will increase the monitor resolution past it's max resolution.
