Specs: Windows Vista, About 1 Gig of RAM
I got this computer for Christmas, but its ATI Graphics card keeps crashing... I have a ATI Radeon Xpress Series... This crashes about every 2-3 hours. The screen goes black for a s few seconds and then when it comes back up, it says something like "Display driver crashed and recovered." Help? I don't want to return my computer for a new one. :(

Crashing could be for many reasons: hardware conflict, driver, or software. Can you narrow the problem down to one of the three?

Event log just says it crashed, not why. Follow that and you are treating the symptoms not the problem.
What brand computer? Are the drivers up to date? Have you tried re-installing the driver? Is there another video card in the system?
Are there enough case fans to provide cooling? Are the fans directed properly?
Is the power supply large enough?
The more information you provide, the better the response.
It is possible the video card is marginally bad.

specs at top of page are not right. This is an HP Compaq... I don't know what model it is. It's a slimline. Drivers are not up to date. When I update them, it seems as if I get a standerd driver, as the screen is stretched and I only have 2 resolutions. I have rolled back the driver after installing the newer one, which seemed standered. I do not think there is another video card in the system. i have no idea about the fans, but this is a refurbished PC, so I think they are good. I also do not know anything about the power supply. The only time I opened this PC was to insert a network card. (Wasn't for slimline so I cut the top off. Haha)
