Specs: Windows 98SE, 1.2 ghz/512meg
At boot time the computer is looking for PCI System management buss drivers

Try the Asus site HERE - select your Windows version and then under 'utilitites' look for the chipset driver - that should include the bus driver - download & install.

I should have read the thread regarding this issue.. I have many more issues in my attempt to get this machine up-and-running..

I should install a LAN card in this machine to transfer files or connect to the Internet..

The only connection this box has to the outside world is through the floppy drive or the CD/DVD drive, at the moment..

USB drives should work on 98SE, though you will need one that comes with an installation disk as 98SE doesn't have built-in drivers, & these are becoming a bit rare, Installing a network adapter will certainly help but if you intend to use it on the internet, especially on a broadband connection, you are asking for problems as far as security is concerned.
