Solved Asus computer NDIS driver error

Specs: Windows 8.1
New Asus desktop, upgraded to windows 8.1 and now stuck in an error loop "ndis driver" computer just keeps re starting as soon as you get passed the sign on

The NDIS driver is a Windows network driver. What probably happened is that the driver became corrupt when you upgraded to Windows 8.1.

First, use your Windows installation disc to run system repair:

If that doesn't work, you'll have to remove the hard drive(s), place them in a working computer (be careful not to set them as the boot drive) and attempt to get any pictures, documents, etc. from the drive from your computer. Note: you cannot transfer over programs.

Of course, you don't have to do this if you've been backing up all of your files...

Then, you'll have to use the ASUS recovery partition on your computer to restore Windows. This will completely erase everything on the computer, hence why you will wish to try to retrieve your data first.
