Solved Add WAV music files to iTunes12.2?

Specs: Windows 7, e4400 intel/2gb
I tried the internal iTunes >Files >Add file to library > (I select file from the list displayed by iTunes) > Open -- does not work at all.

I tried click-drag from PC Music folder into iTunes -- does not work at all.

I simply cannot seem to add my .WAV files into iTunes library. These are subliminal .wav files that I would like to play from iTunes. But, how can I load them into iTunes' library when all available instructions I find by Googling the question -- even in the Apple iTunes 2.2 Support forum -- all fail?

Thanks much,

This discussion orbits around the item:

However - see if this Youtube video helps; it includes preserving the meta-data (details of the artist etc.) but essentially is how to import a .wav into iTunes.

Thanks for answer, trvlr. My songs did in fact transfer over into iTunes...but, in new folder called Unknown Album. I found them. Thanks for your helpful answer.

Thanks much,
