ViewScan may or may not work -- but to pay $40 or $80 to buy the program and use it without a watermark in the scanned image is absurd.

Who would spend that kind of money on old technology! At these prices, I'll just buy a Vista compatible scanner!

Is there not just a plain old driver for this scanner, compatible with Windows Vista?

Just trying to extend the life a piece of equipment that, other than compatibility with Vista, is perfecty functional.

Vuescan has a Trial Version so one can make a decision wether or not it is worth paying for. The other option is to try and force an XP Driver to work, see similar thread:

Many new all-in-one do not have a 35mm slides scan attachment.......

From the "similar" item, it seems Windows 7's "compatability mode" would be a better bet than Vista for getting an XP device to work?
