Specs: Windows 7 starter, Intel (R) Atom(TM) CPU N450@1.66GHz
hi , had the ff problem on my Dell Inspiron Mini

PXE-E61 : Media Test Failure , Check Cable
PXE-M0F : Exiting PXE Rom.
Operating System not Found.

pls help

See if the BIOS is correctly identifying the HD.

as m2go said check and make sure the HDD is detected by BIOS.
If yes then it could be a MBR based corruption.

If the boot code inside MBR get corrupted you will get messege like
“Invalid Partition Table,”“Error Loading Operating System,” or “Missing Operating System.” depends on the level of corruption.

if that is the problem then :
Boot into the Recovery Console and execute the fixmbr command. This
command replaces the executable code in the MBR. Unfortunately, it does not repair the
partition table. The only way to restore a damaged partition table is to restore it from a
backup copy or to use a third-party disk-corruption/partition repair tool.

... enter your bios and alter or disable the setting that is booting to network Lan as first option. ( ^^ < click save settings on exit of bios)
