Yeah, interesting. Not many computers have floppy drives these days though, although they might not be essential..

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I think I'll pass on that. I can't see any point in reimplementing a 35-year old "Operative(sic) System" that was always a pile of crud.

Re #2
I see where you are coming from but you have posted this is on a MS/PC-DOS forum so folk presumably have a need/desire to use it. By the same reasoning you could say the same sort of thing on the Win 3.1 forum and probably others. The web master has not seen reason to ditch these old forums and my thoughts are "everyone to his own". I have to say, I still use command prompt on Win 8.1 to implement various activities, although I accept that is not quite the same thing.

I have no doubt that people still use DOS, and there are plenty of good versions of DOS available. But I will still pass on the opportunity to pay good money to produce yet another version.

As I said, I don't see the need to reimplement it.

Fine, I agree entirely with that. Seems I might have misconstrued your previous post a bit.

Err .. yes DAVE

"Start a campaign", then collect dollars down the side. Just sit back and hope the dollars come in, with not much else you need do except the odd update to say how well it's going. I think you are right.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

A pretty unsuccessful scam so far.

Looks like you try whatever scam you like on that webpage. I don't think the MS-DOS one showed much imagination but I guess they thought it was worth a try.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

They would've had better luck with a DOS tee-shirt.
