I found this old review from infoworld magazine but it's not much help:

There's a cyco international in Georgia but I don't know if it's the same company that originally issued flying dutchman.

I think you're out of luck as far as finding a download. You might have to wait until someone who has a copy comes across this thread. Also check occasionally on ebay. A lot of old software shows up there.

Hi Rasha, I have never heard of this program, and googling does not help either.

Am wondering if there is a misunderstanding, as if one goes to this webpage:-

http://article.wn.com/view/2011/10/...

there are links on the rh side, to sites that appear to relate to that which you seek.

However if you advise what you want to do and how you wanted to achieve this, it might help others here, with making alternative suggestions.

Good Luck - Keep us posted.

I was confused by this as well, never heard of the program for dos. I am wondering if its a game? I know that there were several that had this in the name(not sure that they were for pure dos). However I have never heard of an ftp program that was named this. Perhaps more information from the origional poster about what is actually in need of being accomplished, and there may be another program that is more readily available.

I did find one reference to it on some site where a guy was reminiscing about old software. It apparently transfers data through the serial or parallel port like interlnk/intersvr. I couldn't find a download even on some of the abandonware-type sites.

Rasha, do you know what the command was to start it? If so maybe googling that would turn something up. Any search with 'flying dutchman' in it turns up links to the game and references to the ship.
