You can not unless you use Virtual PC 2004:

If you want to Dual Boot MS-DOS/XP, MS-DOS ideally needs to be on the C: Drive:

If you install DOS first, XP will set up a dual boot.

If DOS is installed after XP, it will be quite a project.

If your XP installation is the typical default, with an NTFS partition taking up all the space, you're outa luck.

Also, FWIW, if there's something specific you're needing DOS for (i.e.--game or text-based software), then you may just need something as simple as DOSBox...
