Epson still have some documentation available:

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/...

Googling is quicker than waiting for an answer....

It's going to depend on if it needs a floppy setup disk or if you just need to know a particular keystroke. The available documents mention a 'reference disk' so I suppose you need that disk. However you can try a few typical keystrokes and see what happens. Common ones are:

DEL
F1
CTRL ALT ENTER
CTRL ALT S

Here's a site with more but it doesn't show any Epsons:

http://www.mydigitallife.info/compr...

I couldn't find any setup or reference disk downloads for that model. You might try some from Epson's FTP site. The only ones I found were in the Desktop folder:

ftp://ftp.epson.com/desktop/

There's some for 386's there. I looked at SX20RF, SXSTUP, and 325PSU. Download them to their own folder as running the file will extract it to the current directory. You can specify extracting to a floppy disk by adding the drive letter, such as SX20RF A: Some of the downloads are just SETUP.EXE and some contain additional files. You should probably create a dos bootdisk and just copy SETUP.EXE to the disk.

You can try that and see if it works for the notebook. If not, and if there's no keystroke that works, it's going to be difficult to get the thing set up.

Hi Radio,

I do not know this pc, but from googling it appears the NB3S had the option of at least 3 (20, 40, 60mb) different capacity plug-in hard discs.

If changing to one of a different capacity to that currently installed, the bios has to be changed using the set-up disc, as I am sure you aware. Locating one is the task.

Have you tried the Epson support webpages?

I tried the UK ones and your pc is not found, you can use the serial number also. I continued to their 'contact us' section, where one e-mail them or live-chat.

Try also googling for 'epson forums'.

Please advise back on progress.

As a matter of interest, where are you based? I am in Hammersmith, West London.

Good Luck - Keep us posted.

Hello Mike
I have searched on the web for any reference disk. I have found one for another computer but i have not tried yet because i'm not at home in this moment. I have read that it's possible also to put a 120mb disk also.
So i live in south of France in a city Aix-en-Provence 30 km in north east of Marseille.

Thank you for your response. I wiil inform you on the result when i return at home.

Bests regards
Chris
