Folder Attributes

May 30, 2010 at 05:34:55
Specs: Windows xp, 3/2
I want a batch script that changes all folders attributes
I use this script
////////
@echo off
attrib -s -h *
/////////
but I changes only the files attributes.
I think that the script must be something like:
@echo off
%a=????????? //here the script get the folder name

attrib -s -h %a

for /D %j in (*) do @attrib -s -h "%j"

Replace %j with %%j if coded inside a batch script.

By the way this is NT batch not plain DOS that doesn't exist in XP.

attrib /?

Is one of the rare cases where MS help helps.

Like IVO says, NT ain't DOS.
