There's a lot of stuff in Google.

See post #7 here:
http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/3...

It gives a link to the MS download then a procedure for producing three floppies - looks a bit long winded tho.

I found this:

http://www.esnips.com/doc/a359a413-...

It extracts to three directories corresponding to the 3 disks. Looks like it originally was for 720K disks. Also there is no io.sys, msdos.sys and command.com on disk1 to make it bootable. But you should be able to download a dos 5 bootdisk--just the system files--from someplace like bootdisk.com and then add the contents of disk 1 to it.

Also I believe they need a software label. You'd type LABEL A: to add a label to the disk in drive a:. Then type DISK (and hit the space bar 6 times) and type 1 (or 2 or 3 depending on the disk).

Or you could use the bootdisk to sys the hard drive and then use the EXPAND command to expand the files and then copy them to a dos directory you create on the hard drive.

You're not really green until you're soylent green.
