Anyone have access to XOR.DLL file?

July 13, 2012 at 02:41:30
Specs: MS-DOS 6.2
Anyone know where I can find a version of XOR.DLL that will run under DOS? Believe it or not, I still need it!!

Thanks,

It appears to be a "Windows only" file. A DOS version does not exist.

Yeah, dos doesn't use DLL files. Are you trying to run widnows software under dos?

Thanks for the replies, guys!

No, I really am looking for a DOS version, which
I need to use in conjunction with software I've
prepared using a proprietary DOS-based toolkit
called "Dax". (The software actually called this
DLL file, which then acted as if it were a sub-
routine within the program - one that executed
the recursive Mod 10 function multiple times,
but far faster than compiled code prepared
using Dax.)

I actually once had a copy of the file I'm looking
for - and have used it successfully in the past -
but apparently no longer have either of the two
computers on which this file (and the associated
customized program) were located. Now that I
need the file again, I'm apparently up the
proverbial creek without the XOR paddle!

Anyone know what I'm talking about, and where
I might find what I need?

(BTW, in case someone plans to suggest that I
try to use the Windows-based version of the file,
I have already tried to do that, but unfortunately
got the not-unexpected message about the file
only being usable in a Windows environment ...)
