Hello. I recorded gaming video with OBS. I use Camtasia 8 to edit it but Camtasia cant read format that OBS is recording. I use wondershare to convert from mp4 to mp4 (Wierd ? I got same feeling but it works. Camtasia can read it) but it has really big quality loose. What should I do with it ?

I would be inclined to try the conversion using Handbrake (#4) - it might prove something.

If wondershare can convert to other formats try one of these instead of mp4:

It's most wierd thing I ever seen. Yesterday after I post this threat, I tested all formats. Wierd is that I got same quality. Like I choose max quality and it's same as normal quality. I mean like my video hasn't got antialising. Edges of for example AK-47 in CSGO is pixelated. I don't know if I can post picture but it looks like I can't

Try Handbrake for the conversion. I've always had good luck with it.

You might as well not convert MP4 to MP4. The video file will loss too much quality. If the Camtasia cannot read the recorded video file, try to update it to latest version. If the problem persists, you may consider some other programs. I’m currently using Free Online Converter that possesses converting and editing functions. Hope it helps. Also, this application is totally free.
