Specs: Windows Vista
I have Windows Vista Home Premium and want to burn a DVD-R from a .MVY file.
When attempting to burn the disc, the program I use indicated that the disc is not writable.
The disc is new and I see no rrason why this should be the case..........

Most DVD-recordable drives made in the last 5-8 years support DVD+R and DVD-R. You could always Google the make/model and find out from that.

simply try a DVD+r
or maybe even a different brand of DVD, sometimes that makes a difference too.
