Assuming they were jpg files, have you done a search for that file extension on your computer?

Copy and paste them over to the Pictures folder. Note that there is no Photo file as such, this is just a program that allows you to view what is on there, they really reside elsewhere. Wherever they are it will pick them up for viewing.

When you are sure they have been copied into Pictures then the originals can be deleted (otherwise duplicates will show in "Photos")..

If there are a lot of files these shortcut keys are very useful for moving them around:

Thank you. But I loved it when the pictures downloaded went in to the Pictures file and there they sit for viewing.. It will be ok to copy and paste a few photos but when I take hundreds its going to take for ever!

I feel that this method is going backwards. Thanks anyway.

What did you mean by an F file? Did you mean a folder on the F drive? Check with your Canon software package to see if there are options for setting where the pictures download to. It is normally to the Pictures folder.

If you have to move a lot of them already then use the link I gave in #3 which gives the keys which allow you to do so in bulk. Those same keys are very useful for handling Files and Folders generally.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
