Solved What is a suitable graphics importer?

Specs: Windows 10
I recovered some JPE files from an SD and put the 28 recovered files in a folder on my laptop which operates w/ Windows 1o. cannot open any of the files no matter what program I try to open it with. I get a message cannot open file need suitable graphics importer.

Two things to try:

1) Install XnView which can open .JPE files:


2) Change .JPE to .JPG using File >> Rename option in Windows Explorer.

Are you sure the recovered files are intact and undamaged? You shouldn't need anything special to open jpg/jpe files.
