Hmmm metal buildings and wifi don't mix easily... However there are solutions tht may work.

Which model D-link acmeras are you considering using?

Is the doggie house on the same distribution box as the main house for electricity?

What is the terrain between main house and doggie house?

The reason for these questions is to determine whether or not you could use homeplug system to get a signal from a camera base station inside the doggie house - back to the main house via ethernet rather than via wifi.

The other option is to use wifi between the doggie house and main house to the same end. Using wifi only will require an external wifi antennae on the doggie house and also one on your main house...

If you opt for wifi only... then Curt R, and one or thre others here are well up on that technology; more so than am I. But first give a few more details as requested above

Also please try to avoid using all capitals in your posts; except where appropriate... All capitals is harder to read and many pholks here (and on other forums too) simply pass by such posts...
