I currently have a blue ray player/recorder on my laptop and was wondering which route i should go. Save to DVD, DVD/HD, or blu ray. ALso which brand would be the best. Regular DVD is probably the most usable. You may also want to save it in a playable format.

Might I suggest an online storage site such as Mozy or Carbonite. You are much safer going this route. DVD's and CD's can go bad and once they do, you've lost everything. Also with disc storage, heaven forbid but if your house gets robbed or suffers fire, water, other acts of God, the disc is gone. With online storage your data is always recoverable.

Mozy is $5 a month for unlimited storage.
